Dear friends ,
We need to update posting keys in the tcode OB40 , but the client is closed. When we type /h to turn ON the debugging we go into debug mode menu Breakpoint > Breakpoint at > Statement > MESSAGE
After press F8 a popup appear and this do not allow us to change the variable to open the system.
Does anyone knows the way to open the system via /h for OB40 ?
best regards,
Ale

Why you want to do it in this fashion?
If the customer really wants to update the posting keys then you may ask to "ope" the systems rather than manipulating the system variables.

Thanks for your reply dear Sandeep.
Well this part of company policy that they only open the client once a month in the weekend, so only in the end of month they will open. We have created 4 change requests and transported to the PRD system but the table T030B has no value for posting strings for certain kind of operations. Our basis team suggest to do this via abap once they cannot open right now the client.
Well we´ll continue to find a better solution.
Thanks.

Well, it goes without saying that it's a funny change management policy, not to mention the fact that the Basis team recommends a hack to get around it. At that point I would go wake up the Basis Lead and thump him/her on the head with my coffee mug.
I'm not sure why you can't transport the values, but there are acouple of other options: if you have debug-replace authority, you can force the values in the table OR you can use LSMW to update the tables directly with some simple code in a dummy LSMW. Not that I'm recommending it as a standard approach but it works well...
