HI,
I would like to know what bapi to use in order to create a custom general notification (category 05)
I thought it might be IQS4_CREATE_NOTIFICATION. But i'm not quite sure. Any help would be very apreciated.
Thank you very much
Best regards.

Hello Keshav,
I've created a notification and gave it the category type 05 (general notification). It's neither pm nor qm.
Thanks for your help

Thank you very much for your help.
I have a new question though.
when i create a bapi using this function to create a notification, the notification is created since it returns a notification number. But i can't seem to be abble to view it.
Do you have any idea on why this is happening?
Thanks a lot

Just use a commit work after the BAPI call.
call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT

Take a look at the standard BAPI for service notifications - BAPI_SERVNOT_CREATE. It calls IQS4_CREATE_NOTIFICATION but the BAPI should be used if at all possible.
