Email sending problem

Hi All,

I have a requirement to send an email to some externel mail id, i am getting status message 718 "Delivery Attempted" in SOST tcode , but it is not actually sending mails. For testing i have copied a standard program BCS_TEST09 and changed only email address , it is also giving the same message and is not sent to the specified mail address. But when i am sending from the tcode SO00 it is going to the specified email address. Please guide me where is the error .
