Hi ajay ,

generic key , we use this wihile creating foriegn key ....suppose we have a master table in which we have more then one primery key ....and we are creating another ztable not using all the primery key of master table , then we will mention these field as generic as generic .

HI Ajay,

Generic Key are to define the key figures that are relevant for you and to monitor them in the Portal.

We can define key figures and also set them up as configurable key figures. The key figures monitor displays the key figures in the Portal in the roles to which the corresponding iView is assigned. The key figure monitor is implemented as an iView in the business package common parts. See Key Figure Monitor.

· You can define key figure views.

In a key figure view, you can choose individual key figures assigned to you and group them in a view according to your requirements. For example, you can select and display the relevant key figures for tasks that occur at a certain time of time, such as a shift.
