generate a batch input session

Hi! all...

thanks for all the replies to my previous post.

ive got the BDC program i wrote working using CALL TRANSACTION method.

i wanna know how to generate a batch inpout session for the program. i know theres a tcode SM35 but i dont got a clue how to proceed.

whatever code that has to be incorporated into the pgm has been done like the open group, close group and bdc insert. program is ready, dont know how to run it in SESSION METHOD. help me out.

if any of you can give me the procedure that wud be of great help.

sorry for asking such basic questions but i am a functional guy and a first timer to any ABAP stuff.

Hi keyan,

1. while calling fm BDC_OPEN_GROUP

u must have specified the name of session.

2. in sm35,

select that session

and press button on toolbar 'Execute'
