Hi Sreehari,
What do you mean by "I found fuction name different with the FM name"?

Hi,
I did not understand your issue correctly but still I can suggest you one thing. If its a customized function module, just open it in se37 and there is an option of copy in top. With the help of that you can create a new function module of the name you require.
Hope it helps. Please do let us know if your issue is still there.

Hi,
I would like to mention that any object ( like FM or Function Group ) is likely to change its technical name in the destination server but to identify them you can try with there descriptions which are going to remain as it is.
Wish that will suffice your problem.

Bishwajit.

Yes, Automatically System generated Function Modules can change its names while transporting.
I have faced this situation once with FM's generated from SMARFORMS. So I was specifically giving the solution for such FM's.
Thanks

Well, I am not a Smartforms expert so I could be lacking information. However, I am still skeptical about that. If you are transporting a function module to another system, then that means it is not being re-generated in the target system but rather being sort of copied and I would be surprised to see its name change.

Hi Sreehari,
Do check on thing, whether you are transporting the FMs & Function Groups properly.
Just confirm while transporting you are not collecting the FMs & FG separately.Because if you collect the transport request of Function Group,it will transport everything that is in the function group( all functions, all modules, all includes).
Check it once.Because you may make a mistake there.
