Function module to convert string to sap script format

Hi,

I need to convert a text to SAP script format(TDLINE). I have used the FM CONVERT_STREAM_TO_ITF_TEXT to achieve this functionality. Its working fine. But when there is & symbol passed as input to the FM, the FM converts it into <(>&<)>. This is causing me a problem as the output of the file is being uploaded to a different system.

Is there any other FM which converts the text to script format?

hi

just make sure that whatever text you are copying should not be directly copied from word.

it needs to be copied from word to note pad.Then subsequentely it has to be copied from note pad to the script editor.
