Function group

Hi,

When i try to create function group it showing me the error

"REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is I (Include)"

The top include is inactive in function group

can anyone tell me how to rectify this

Hi,

goto se80. select function group. give the funtion group. click on display.

Now right click on your function group and select activate. Select all the inactive components of the function group (like ur top include, Fm etc..)

Your problm will be solved.

Hi,

This error Comes when the Function Group is not Active .

To Activate the Function group select the path: Goto->Main program and Activate.

Ensure all the Inculdes are active ..

Hai Azhar,

i suppose that when u execute any function module in function group u will get the error what u are facing but not while you are creating it,for this u try to change the function group name means copy the prent function group to another function group name.

Also try to activate all the function modules in it,if you are using any tables just try to activate them also.

Hi,

You will come across this eror when the Function Group is not activated to which your FM is added.

To activate Function Group do as below :

Go to SE80 --> select function group from the drop down list --> Input your function group --> Press enter --> select function grouup --> Right Click on FM group --> select Activate from the context menu.

Once it is activated you can overcome with this error.

Hi Azhar,

Case1 While creating fngrp it will ask u the package name.

First check wht r the fngrp's existed under tht

package.If any include program is inactive open

tht program and activate it.

2 "The top include is inactive in function group"

Actually this is the case will occur while exex the

Function module. Bcaz under one fngrp there

will be so many fnmodules.Tht u hav to open tht

fnmodule n Goto->MainProgram there u hav 2

check the include program which is not active

and make it as activate.

Just check it once whether u r problem belongs

to Case 1 or 2.
