Forward Error Handling - Post Processing Office

Hi,

I have setup my first FEH scenario in ECC6 in our dev environment and it works correctly. All components have been export to our UAT environment but no post processing office entries appear for errors generated, same test file generates same errors in Dev. I have debugged but no nothing obvious stands out.

I have followed the steps in Michal Krawczyk's blog and I have checked the various table and SPRO entries to make sure the config is the same in DEV as in UAT.

The four areas I have checked are SPRO - Define process data, view /SAPPO/VS_BPROC, SPRO - Define Postprocessing and view FEHV_PROXY2CMPR.

We have other FEH scenarios set up and working all the way through to PRD, unfortunately the person who set these up is gone.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where/what I should be looking at next?

Julian

Hi,

I found the solution to my issue. I need to transport an entry from table /SAPPO/S_CMPNT. I thought there was an additional table involved somewhere and a little bit of debugging paid dividends.

I now remember having this issue when I created the FEH initially and found I needed to populate this table to get it to work.

I couldn't find online any documentation that mentions the need to populate this table for post processing office to get it to display the entries I was after. Perhaps someone who is experienced in this area could put something together

regards

Julian

Hi Julian,

What TCODE  did you use to populate /SAPPO/S_CMPNT in development? Thanks!

Hi Mary Anne,

It has been a while since I posted this issue and I no longer have access to the system I was on back then. I have asked a ex-colleague have a look through documentation dating back to when this occurred. I'll update you when I hear back.

Hi Mary,

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately my ex-colleague was unable to locate the documentation I had written.
