extension error for basic idoc type ACC_DOCUMENT03

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create extension of the basic Idoc ACC_DOCUMENT03 but I am getting following error message.

'Action is not possible for Generated Idoc types'.

Can anybody tell the complete procedure of the extension for this basic type?

Hi Folks,

I too have the same problem....

When i try to extend this IDOC type: ACC_DOCUMENT03, it throws me an error ''Action is not possible for Generated Idoc types'.

What is the reason behind this and why is this restricted for extension ?
