Extend standard table control without modification?

Hi Folks,

is there any way to extend a table control of a standard application without any modification?

first try to see if a display variant can be done with some hidden columns (click on the small icon in the top corner of TC)

if there is no hidden columns that you can show then you have no way to do it without modification
