Hello Experts,
I have created a view on table EBKN. Among other fields I also have
MENGE and NETWR in the view. When I try to create a Datasource
based on this View. I an error. Looks like I have to include the
reference for MEINS and currency key for NETWR. I do not know how
to add that in a view since MEINS is not part of EBKN. I would really appreciate if someone could help me.
I get the following error message:
You tried to generate an extract structure with the template structure ZEBKN1. This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field NETWR refer to a different table.
Thanks.

Hi,
Whenever there are Currency and Quantity fields involved then it is MANDATORY that we refer / attach the associated Units to them. If I say Quantity of 10 then it is meanigless. But if I say 10 KG/ 10 mtr / 10 cm then it is meaningful. Similar is the case wiuth Currency / Price. 100 rupees / 100 dollars is meaningful rather than simply saying 100.
so try giving the references as follows.
for MENGE: Ref Table - EBAN and Ref Field - MEINS
for NETWR: Ref Table - T001 and Ref Field - WAERS
If your problem is not resolved using this then please let me know how you are creating the View and the Data Source so that I can help you out to get this issue reolved.
Hope that this one helps you out. Reward accordingly.
Thanks and Regards,
