Error "NiHLGetNodeAddr" when accessing GUI from Studio

Hello folks

I just installed the ADT in my HANA Studio and now wanted to access an SAP Transaction out of the Studio. However, I do get the error "NiHLGetNodeAddr".

SAP GUI Installation is working fine when using it in the "Standard way".

What is missing or what I am doing wrong?

(System Connection is via "Application Server")

Thanks & regards

bivision

Hi,

it is pretty hard to analyse this problem without more detailed information. By switching on the trace (Preferences->ABAP Development->Trace Configuration, SAP GUI Integration), you can get more details in the error log.

As it is not the right place here to publish the trace, it might be better if you create a CSS message and attach the eclipse log file. See also note 1782658 (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1782658).

Thanks,

Hi Christian,

try to logon to the system using the SAPLogon/SAPGui. When doing this, a system file is created which is needed by the embedded SAPGui. Once you have done so, the error should no longer appear.

Let me know in case it doesn't solve the issue.

Cheers,
