Error opening an RFC connection.

Hello. I am trying to send a mail from SAP to a direction of internte, by means of RFC, for it I am forming transaction SM59, but this giving back sigueinte error to me: Error opening an RFC connection.

In order to send the mail, I am working with the following BLOG: /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2005/01/05/develop-a-web-service-that-sends-an-email--in-abap

Somebody podria to help me with this problem?

Problem is with your RFC destination. test your RFC destination in SM59 before excecuting your code. Check your host name and system ID. While testing your RFC destination if it gives any error contact your basis admin. I had similer issues earlier, Its very easy to resolve this issue.

Hello. Before nothing thanks for your fast answer, continues giving he himself error to me, “RFC DESTINATION” arms it of the following way:

RFC Destination : SAP 4.5 INTERNET MAIL GATEWAY

Connection Type : T

Description : INTERNET EMAIL GATEWAY

Activation Type: start on explicit Host

Program: /sapmnt/P21/global/ SAP_EMAIL_GATEWAY.sh

Target Host: <Name of my Host>
