Error on CASE and RECORDS Management - BAPI_RECORD_ADDELEMENT

Dear SDN,

the error "No suitable model node found " returns when FM BAPI_RECORD_ADDELEMENT is called for a specific CASE.

The Node ID (parameter IS_REFINS-REF_NODE_ID in the FM) is '7', according to what (seems to be properly set) in TCode SCASE, for the specific Record related to this CASE.

For all other Node ID's, no errors come up, only for this specific one.

Please, has anyone seen this error before?

Dear Fabio,

Model node is the node id in the recordmodel. For the case you are using, there will be a case type in SCASECUSTOMIZING. The record model is declared in the case type. Open the record model & check the model node number. Also check that the model node can accept the element type of the object that you are trying to add. The model node can be seen in the linked objects view of the case also but for that the user setting in the SCASE needs to be set with the model node box ticked. For this, open any record in SCASE transaction & navigate to user settings (available in drop down menu of one of the top menu items in record) & then check the record view items.
