Hi Gurus,
I have got the following error message when I try to manage CO-OM Responsibility area through Org level management box.
Message No KI870
Table KBEROBJ Does not contain authorization object.
I check the table and I can see the authorization object with fields set to default values.
Please guide me if anyone encountered the same error.
thanks

Hi
Let me add some other information to this problem.
We have maintained the cost center and profit center hierarchy in R/3 and add hierarchy nodes in CO-OM Resposibility area.
The authorization object contains the field RESPAREA and we made that field as Org level field. So when we add tcode in role this field will come up in Org level maintain box with Change Icon next to it.
When i try to change the value of hierarchy nodes in RESPAREA by clicking that change icon, i got this error message. After this message, system got hanged.
Message no : KI870 - Authorization object is invalid
Table KBEROBJ does not contain authorization object.
I am trying to find out how to maintain table KBEROBJ.
I really appreciate if someone got same error and know the solution.
Thanks and will reward points for sure

I still have the problem, I found something in OSS Note: 616338 that may help, but I haven't had time to research or implement it.

Hi,
additionally please follow note 565436
Just to clarify: the important thing is, that you create an 'empty' entry in kberobj. For example it could look like this:
OBJECT CURRENTOBJ OBJECT1 OBJECT2 OBJECT3 OBJECT4 OBJECT5
___________ HI KS KN PC PH <<<<!!
A_IMA_REQU KS KS HI PC PH
A_IMA_RESP KS KS HI PC PH
K_ABC BP BP BH
K_CCA KS KS HI KN
K_KOSTL KS KS HI PC PH
The entry marked with <<<<!! is the one, which has to be added.(with empty value in field OBJECT)
Please add the fields you need for your auth.-concept. The meanings are:
PC Profit Center
PH Profit Center Node
KN Costcentergroup
KS Costcenter
HI Costcenterhierarchy
OR Order
BP Businessprocess
BH Businessprocessnode
You can maintain the entries with SE16.
