error in LSMW

hi,

After specifying the file path & description by selecting the specify files button in the LSMW ,am getting error as

file name'converted data':max 45 characters .remaining data saved.

pls provide the solution for it

do this ur problem will be solved..

while giving the project and subproject name at the starting

of lsmw ---give the name smally like below

(project-zsd and descrip-sdf)

(subproject-zsd1 and descrip-sdfd)...

Hi....

Your Project name and Subproject name length will be too large i think so... so kindly give it as small like zdemo or based on your requirements.

Hi,

thanks for replies...i solved that issue...but after doing assign and specify files...while doing read data i got the error as

error in uploading file......c:\<>(return code =13)

Hi....

this is due to you flat file.....

Can i know what kind of data you have in your flat file....

if you dint the path for the flat file also you will get this kind of error.

hi raja,

actually as uploading the excel file containing the customer master records (updating).

i specified the correct file path....i not means it will show error at that time only i think so...

but when i select read data it is throwing error...

while specifying file path..

in file structure...

if u have give field name at start of column in excel sheet...

then check the checkbox field name at start of column.

or

check field order in excel is matching the source struture..

then check the next checkbox accordingly
