Hi ABAPers,

I am uploading one Asset class testing.txt file using LSMW.

I have gone through this SPECIFY FILES Radio Button and in that i have uploaded the file on my Desktop. But when i save after uploading and saving the file, it was Showing some Error like

" File Name 'Converted Data': Max. 45 Characters. Remaining data saved."

I can't understand where the problem is. So can any one help me in this issue.

Regards,

Ramana Prasad.

This is because the converted data file name is more than 45 characters, reduce the file name of ur converted data file in specify file step. this will work

*reward if solved*

Hi Ramachandran,

Thanks for ur reply, but i am explain the Error.

The error is being generated when specifying the file itself. And the name of the file is just Test. so it is less than 45 characters. Since it is giving error when specifying the file it is not able to read the data.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramana
