Error in IDOC....

Hi Gurus,

I m creating a material using MATMAS05. The IDOC is getting posted in R/3 from some other system with the error: Application document not posted. why this error occured and what can be the solution to this??

Hello,

No idea why the error occured. But you can try to test the Idoc in error by using WE19 & try to debug the associated processing FM.

Hi,

Is the IDoc in status 51 ? If so, then check the error in t-code BD87, it will give you the exact error. If you still dont find anything, open the IDoc and see the status messages if those give you any details.

Hi,

There can be many reasons. In order to know the exact reason go to Tcode WE19. Enter idoc number and process the idoc using option Inbound processing. Enter function module name and debugging in foreground option. Also, go to status record and check if there is any application message in it.

check error message in sub node and let us know the error message by that we can give you some solution.

Just under that 'Application doc not posted' you can get the exact error message . (in status record t-code we02)

There could be multiple reasons for this.

let me know if you have any doubt.
