Hi,
when i manually edit il02 i am able to edit the Functional location.
Where as when i tried the same through the BAPI BAPI_FUNCLOC_CHANGE i am getting the error as
'Error in Functional location and its technically blocked'.
kindly let me know what i have to do.

Check these sap notes & follow correction instruction.
It may helps.
Note 34985 - IL02/IE02:Lock problems in large object hierarchies
Note 11860 - Data transfer for functional locations (IL01/IL02)
Check You are properly assigned with,Authorization object I_MASS
Because mass changes controlled by this object.

you mean to say some authority related error.
but exactly what needs to be done could you pls explain.
i read those notes but i didnt get clear idea what needs to be done.
kindly explain me the steps what needs to be done.

Hi,
After you execute the Program with the BAPI. Check SU53 it usually lists any authorization object that might be stopping your user ID with the details of the authorization object.

Its coming as last authorisation was successful.
but i am getting the error the functional location is technically locked.

The business object functional location is an organizational unit within Logistics, that structures the maintenance objects of a company according to functional, process-related or spatial criteria. Check with any Plant Maintainance consultant in your team. They might be able to help.

make sure you are not in change mode in another session in the same or connected functional location or in any equipment from this FL
