Enhancement Implementation linked to the wrong program

Hi All,

I'm trying to create an enhancement inside the include FV45VFZY_USEREXIT_CATALOG_VALU, FORM USEREXIT_CATALOG_VALU.

It's used in 2 programs: SAPFV45V and SAPLATP0.

I'm creating to SAPFV45V.

When I create my enhancement, it's linked to program FV45VFZY_USEREXIT_CATALOG_VALU (the include) instead SAPFV45V (I saw it in Enhancement editor). But in "enchancement implementation point/section" property, the linked program is SAPFV45V (PR:SAPFV45F ...).

So, when I run, the FORM always is empty. And I can't put break points inside my code (message "The position of a breakpoint cannot be determined" is displayed).

I ask to a friend to try to do it in your company and he told me that it works correctly.

Any idea?

Hi,

In SE19 Give your enhancement implementation name and activate it.

The error you are getting because your enhancement is not fully active.

Activate your enhancement from SE19 and then try to put break point.

Hi Vijay,

It was already activated. The problem, I think, is the wrong link between the enhancement implementation and the INCLUDE. This link needs to be between the enhancement and the main program.

I've tried to create an enhancement there, and in se19 my enhancement is linked to main program SAPFV45V

This is the problem.

I see the include FV45VFZY_USEREXIT_CATALOG_VALU instead SAPFV45V.

I tried to delete and create again the enhancement, but it's always linked to the include :S.

Try to delete all objects: so enhancment and composite implementation

Hi,

Activation of enhancement implementation is the only problem.

Just follow these steps.

1 ) Go to SE19 and enter enhancement implementation name and press "CHANGE" button.

2 ) In next screen select enhancement implementation from menu and and select activate.

Hi Fabio,

I tried to create implicit enhancement in the same place for me it was working perfect.

It linked to program "SAPFV45V".

I think you need to delete previous implementation and try create this again.

while creating when you choose EDIT->Enhancement operation->Show implicit enhancement option.

It will through a pop up to select main program.

Here you need to select main program

What are the Enhancement Package version that you 2 are working?

I have 2 development servers in my company. 1 with EHP4 and other with EHP5.

The problem occurs at server with EHP5 :S.

I tried all suggestions, but the problem continues.

I've tried to create the enhancement in a system without enhancement package, but a system with EHP5 is available too; I'll try to create it there and I'll get you a feedback

I've tried to create the enhancement in EPH5 and it seems to be ok, I mean the enhancement is linked to main program.

So now I think it needs to check the patch level but it's better you can try to apply the note just as some guys have suggested to you

Hi Neelima,

Check SAP Note 1561880. Once this Note is applied, you will need to delete the implementation (because it was created before the Note was applied) and create it again.

My issue was resolved with this Note.

Also verify if SAP Note 1415331 has been applied in your system, or not.
