Email Sending

Hi All,

My program is for sending the email.

I am using the following function module with these parameters.

CALL FUNCTION 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'

EXPORTING

document_data = wa_doc_chng

put_in_outbox = 'X'

commit_work = 'X'

TABLES

packing_list = t_objpack

object_header = t_objhead

contents_txt = t_objtxt

receivers = t_reclist

EXCEPTIONS

too_many_receivers = 1

document_not_sent = 2

document_type_not_exist = 3

operation_no_authorization = 4

parameter_error = 5

x_error = 6

enqueue_error = 7

OTHERS = 8.

Problem is, I can see the email in Outbox( SBWP) which is in status "Send Process Still Running"( Yellow Icon).

If I go to transaction SOST, there status is "Waiting for communications service".

If I go to the menu ,Utilities->Start Send Process of the transaction SOST, mail is sending successfully.

Please help me why it is not going automatically.

It will go automatically if the connections are all set correctly.

Also in general a job will be scheduled for every half an hour to trigger

mail sending process in PRD.

So check your program after sometime , if still problem persists then revert back.

Hi Nikhil,

After you create send mail process start send process has to be activated.You have to do it manually or you can achieve this by submitting RSCONN01program.In addition to it if there is a connection error you will get the error number as 751 so you can check using the report RSCONN01 and also the error message..I am sure your query will be resolve.

check sample program with name BCSEXAMPLE...all are regarding sending mails only....use classes...

Try using

commit work.

after the Function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.

Hi

after calling the function module so_new_document_send_att_api1'

please call these

*Submit the program rsconn01 for job scheduling

submit rsconn01 with mode = 'INT'

with output = ' '

and return.
