Hi All,
I installed eclipse in my system, everything is working fine. But i am not able to use debugger in eclipse. During Runtime, system showing the GUI debugger instead of eclipse.
Please do let me know, should i need to do any other configuration for debugger.

Hi Rajkumar,
I did not completely find out, when debugger is starting and when not.
Maybe this works better with Netweaver 7.4.
But I think, that when it starts, it depends how you started the program.
If you started a transaction with Alt+F8 the old GUI debugger will start.
If you start the program from the eclipse editor by pressing F8 the new eclipse debugger will start.

Dominik

Hi Rajkumar,
within this release it depends on the used kernel version. You need kernel 7.21. Which one do you use?

Hi Martin,
I am using Kernel version 7.20. Can you please share the link for checking the minimum minimum configuration required for 'abap on eclipse/debugger'.

Hi Rajkumar,
first of all you have to upgrade to kernel version 7.21 (or higher). That's all you need to do, I assume that you've got the current ADT version installed. Here is a blog by :
There you can find some sentences about the debugging within Eclipse.
Please note that feature matrix here: Have a look at the SP-stack installed on your development system and compare it to the matrix. So you can determine if your SP-level is sufficient.
If you still face any problems maybe this question can help you:
Hope it helps.
