Hi All,
I am trying to use a gui status of another program by using the statement.
SET PF-STATUS g_pfstatus OF PROGRAM g_cua_program EXCLUDING <g_fcex>.
variable g_pfstatus contails the value for gui status which belongs to another program(value for which is stored in variable g_cua_program).
When program(Module pool) is executed I can not see any buttons(there is not even toolbar coming), what could be the reason for this.
I have commented the code which is used to display the gui status in program it was like below:
SET PF-STATUS 'GENERAL' EXCLUDING lt_exclude.
pf status GENERAL has not buttons defined in section "application toolbar" under se41.
This is needed as in ECC6 program has changed which was catering the need in enterprise version(4.7).
Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Try the below code, it will work. I checked the same in my end.
Program - ZPROGRAM1 Screen - 100 (No PF-STATUS).
Program - ZPROGRAM2 Screen - 200 (PF-STATUS Name 'MENUS').
REPORT ZPROGRAM1. (First Program Code).
Module PBO_100 output.
SET PF-STATUS 'MENUS' OF PROGRAM 'ZPROGRAM2' EXCLUDING 'MARK'.
Endmodule.
Points: The PF-STATUS contains four buttons and it displayed only three because of Excluding concept.

Hi All,
@ARS, value is in upper case, I do not know what could be the reason for the program not displaying the gui status of another program but do you have any clue if we do not have any buttons added in application toolbar section of gui status will even a blank toolbar appear or not.(since it is happening in current case the attached gui status 'GENERAL' has not buttons in gui status.
@Ganesh, Excluding has nothing to do with the appearance of gui status, my requirement is not to exclude or have the all buttons included by default but first to at least display the gui status.
@All, when I see the status information that I could see the GUI(program) as to be the program which i pass in the set pf statement and GUI(status) as to be the one also which I pass in the set pf statement.

As per the sap documentation
http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPSET_PF-STATUS_DYNPRO.htm
For status, a character-type data object must be specified that contains either the name of the GUI status of the main program of the current program group, or the program specified in upper case in prog, or it only contains blank characters. If the status is not available, an empty status is displayed
another roundway solution will be
copy the PF status of into your program and use it.
