Documentation on function modules

I have a question related to SAP’s documentation on function modules.

I use transaction SE37 to see all available function modules and their properties; I wish to get more detailed documentation on those functions. Is there any documentation on SAP’s website or some other place?

Specifically, I am looking for a function module's detailed description, when it was released, if it is RFC enabled etc. I do not want to relay on SE37 to get that information as I have done an IDES installation; SE37 gives information present in my IDES and not in the actual installation.

Also navigating for information using SE37 is a slow process.

go to SE37 andd click display button and

click the DOCUMENTATION tab

Hi,

If you want to view the information that you have mentioned in your post just goto SE37-> give the function module name->CLick the ATTRIBUTES tab. Then you can view your required info.

Hey, I have a cousin named Andy. But I don't think he works on SAP.

You could look at table TFDIR. The FMODE column should give an indication of whether it is RFC-enabled.
