Documentation for Funtion modules

HI SDN,

Is there any quick way to find documentation for functional modules.?

I did not find description for the following FM :RSZ_X_WHERE_USED_LIST_GET

and Documentation button is inactive in SE37 (Doing in BW).

Not all function modules are documented or the documentation is not available in your logon language. That is why that button is greyed out. You will have to read the code and understand it. Also useful in such instances is to check the where-used list of that function module. That will tell you about how to use the function module.

In this case the Documentation doesn't exist, you can try found this on sdn or others SAP web sites.

I check the same function module in ECC 6 and find no documentation for this.

I usually do is if i not documentation for a fm in langu EN i will login as DE and check for documentation. Some of them have documentation in DE. If i find i copy that into a translator and convert to EN

As you said, german descriptions were maintained. I was able to translate and get vague understanding what a particular FM is about.

Generally, if there is no documentation for an FM, it is also not released for customer use. You can still use it, but SAP won't support your use of it.
