what is the difference between modifications and enhancements explain

Hi

Modifications mean making changes to the SAP standard functionality.

Enhancements mean adding some functionality to SAP standard functionality.

modification doesn't support in upgradation where as enhancement supports upgradation.

The enhanced aplcn or transaction easily upgraded to latest version.

If u modify the applcn it leads to serious errors.
