Hi,

As far as ABAP is concerned, CRM ABAP or normal ABAP is same.

The only difference would be the area of work.

i.e. You would be exposed ony to scenarios of CRM & all CRM Transactions.

In Normal ABAP, you would be exposed to several modules viz SD/MM/FI/CO/PP/QM/PM etc..

At any given point of time you can switch back to Normal ABAP or else you have a very good opportunity to move to CRM Functional.

Best regards,

Prashant

Hi Satabdi,

There is no as such difference in ABAP.

But working in CRM you will get a chance for exposure in CRM which is in demand now a days.

Atish

Hi Satabdi,

Irrespective of whether you work in Normal ABAP Or CRM ABAP, learn following things:

1. ALV's - ALV Grid/ALV list

2. Upload/Download of data into SAP

3. User Exits

4. Report programs - Classical reports

5. Smartforms/Scripts

6. Dialog programming with table control

7. RFC/Function Modules

You can go through following Sample programs & learn from them

1. For ALV -- Goto SE38 & type BCLAV* .. you will get a list of ALV programs

2. DWDM transaction.. will list down several programs

3. ABAPDOCU - Will list documentation & sample programs

Best regards,

Prashant
