Hi,
We have a senario where I need to check why some of the users are able to login SAP for a client. Actually they should see the error while logging in. It worked fine in ECD. But its not working in ECQ. How can I debug. How can I set the break point. Can I set a break point from one user and then open with other and will it take that break point.
Thanks.

hi,
I don't understand what needs to be debugged here... A user is able to log on a to a specific SAP system/client combination, fi (s)he has a not logged userid (and password of course).
hope this helps

This is for firefighter role. The system should not allow the user to login directly with the user name and password but it can be assigned to particular user.

what does it mean exactly? For example a use has username 'SMITH', and he wants to log on with his username, it will finally transfer to another username and user will be logged on with that username? What sense does it make?

The firefighter roles are made to improve the security of a system. This role has a username and password. Once the user is assiged to this role he can use this role from his ID. But this should not login on its own. It gives the error in ECD but is not giving in ECQ. How can I compare and debug.

why would you want to debug? If a user has a user name and password for client in SAP, he/she can log in of course. If you don't want them to log in, delete the user in this client or put and enddate to his user account.
