Data Elements for Customer Sreail Number

Hello,

I have a question about the customers serial number which has a length of 18 characters now.

Are there plannings of SAP to enhance the size of the domains to 30 characters in future releases?

How can I identify the screens which are relevant if I would change the size by modification? In table DOKID there are only information of table fields and programs / dynpros. But which is the equivalent table for structure fields related to programs / dynpros?

It is not recommended to change the standard data elements with modifications.

They will be used in so many standard programs and you will get severe

problems with many transactions because of that.

If you want to have 30 characters length create a custom field in your transaction and

update it accordingly.
