data element documentation

Hi ,

I hve a requirement in which i need to change the

docmentation of the sap standard dataelement.

when i try to change it asks whether i need to maintain

in logon language or orginal language.

In logon language i wont be able to change documentation(system does not allow to go to change editor itself)

but in orginal language i can change but the changes

are visible only when i login in orginal language.

so if i want to change the documentation in logon language what do i need to do ?

Hi Rajini,

You can use SE11, display data element, and then hit button supplementary documentation.

Go to CMOD transaction and then choose <b>goto->text enhancements->data elements</b> to achieve ur goal..

Hi ,

Thanks for the information .

But even in CMOD it allows only for language German.

I need to change existing documentation with a

new one in english.

hope i am clear .
