I have a basic question regarding key in database tables.
Can we make a field as a key field and still have the value NULL for that field in the table??
Are key fields are not primary keys?? )
Please clarify.
Thanks,

Yes, you can have a "null" value in a key field of a table. The key fields in a table are usually referred to as the primary key.
