Custom Transaction code .... back ground run

Hi All,

We have custom transaction ZPRS(Module pool program)... which contains selection screens ..

usually user run give the values on selectin screens and press submit.. it displays the list of values on table control..

But user asking instead of table control .. after selection screen input they have run in BACK GROUND.

Please suggest how to that... I know submit is for executable program,...

Could you please explain in which means, user need to run it in background?

so, a little very basic analysis here....what does the user normally do after the table control is displayed? If they just print, change this thing (which would then have to be considered incorrectly designed, with an inappropriate program type) to an executable, with the ability to present an SALV in foreground, or print a report in background...or whatever is needed?

Don't be sorry.... It's entirely understandable. Someone decides to comment to an old post and it takes off again with a new life. I've seen much older posts get lots of comments while the OP has probably long since left IT or retired.
