Custom Development Optimization Package (CDOP)

I wonder, whether anybody has first-hand experience with the Custom Development Optimization Package (CDOP). CDOP provides a comprehensive set of functions for optimization tasks in the area of customer-specific developments, including:

- Clearing Analysis (CA)

- Upgrade/Change Impact Analysis (UCIA)

It shall be shipped with the Solution Support Enablement Package (see http://www.service.sap.com/ssep) but is apparently also available for 4.6C.

I know the master guide (available at above SAP site) and the following SAP notes:

Additional information, especially regarding features and added value for an upgrade project is highly appreciated.

Hello Thomas,

I've just found your thread regarding CDOP (unfortunately not answered by anyone).

We plan to use the CDOP tool for the upgrade from 4.6B to ECC6.0, too. Have you made any experiences with this tool? Are there restrictions, or missing functionalities? Do you have some tips, how to use it effectively?
