How to refresh the role buffer in CUA? I know the Text Comparison step. Is there any other way to do that?

Hi,
it is advisable, that every roleadministrator starts the textcomparison locally to push the information to the cua-master if he changes roles on a cua-clientsystem.
(-->entry screen of pfcg->menue->environement->Text comparison for CUA-central system)
You also couls schedule a textcompariosn regularly in background by scheduling the report SUSR_ZBV_GET_RECEIVER_PROFILES
int the cua-master system (for instance every hour....)
I hope, this information helps.

would you care to describe the problems you have more detailled? i ask this since bernhard hochreiters solution is the most convenient way to do this (not hourly, mind you, not if you have depending objects like IDOCs of the HRMD_ABA kind) but still ... what's wrong with his answer?

Hi Mylene,
Thanks for your consideration. Already I did the text comparison. Still I am not able to retrive the new role name in CUA. Suggest me where I have to check.

Hi again,
please check in your CUA-centralsystem in table USRSYSACT, if the new rolename shows up. Pls don't select the logical systemname, just the rolename in se16. which logical systemname is assigned to that role? I suppose, a wrong one. The logical systemname in that table must be the same name as the system is defined in the CUA-landscape and is asssigned in SCC4 in the cua-clientsystem. Otherwise this role is not recognized as belonging to that client-system.
So please check that table
1. if the new role is contained (if yes the textcomparison worked)
2. which logical system this role is assigned too.
If the table does not contain an entry for that role at all, that indicates, that the textcomparison did not work. In most cases a misconfiguration of the RFC-connection from child to CUA-master is the cause (connection points to another system or another client and not to the CUA-master.
Pls check this too.
I hope this helps. b.rgds, Bernhard
