Hi,
I want to create an outbound IDoc in my system, though the sender and receiver port has not yet been configured. I want to generate the idoc to test for all the segment and data. Is it possible in any way to generate the idoc without the sender and receiver port. In We20 i am maintaining parter profile with some dummy ports. But when trying to create the idoc i get error message that receiver port has not been configured.
Can someone please help me on this.

Jayant,
have you maintained Distribution model BD64. It need BD64 to data to get the IDOC type & IDOC to generate IDOC.

Jayant,
Any question related to Idocs should be posted in Data Transfers section. Not here. People who are expert in that subject matter would be monitoring the posts over there not here
So, next time if you are posting any query, post it in the appropriate place.
Now, coming to your question to create the Idoc only to check the segments you can directly write a small report program. Try to get all the data as per the segments in to an internal table. Then, pass this internal table to the FM MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE. Along with that pass the message type, basic type, partner and dummy port. Execute it and you will see an Idoc generated and verify the same in WE05. The Idoc might be in error status as you are not configuring the correct port details and all.
But, it is very easy to create the port in WE21.
