Create reports like KE30

Dear all,

I would like to create custom reports in SAP like KE30 ones based on Z tables.

More generally I'm trying to have a pivot like report in SAP (without BW, without Excel).

Doubt: is KE30 related to report painter/writer?

Any suggestion?
