Create an instance and get its generation ID

Hi All,

I need to create an instance for a customised program and need to get a new ID each time to assign.

May i know which tcode to create instance and which function to get the ID?

Since your question is missing any hint about your real problem you might be talking about number range objects.

Example: When you create sales orders with internal numbering every time a new order is created its number is increased (by one). The number is taken from the assigned interval of a number range object (fm NUMBER_GET_NEXT ).

The transaction to create and maintain number range objects and intervals is SNRO.
