copying FM

Hi,

I want to copy a standard FM to my z-FM . Can someone please explain me the steps ? If i copy the function group it copies the includes also ! It doesnt give me an option to copy the includes as z-includes . What will happen if i transport this z-FM to production , will the includes also get transported ? Will it have any repercussion ? Kindly guide me as im a newbie.

Hi,

You can copy the includes also and create you own z includes in a new zfunction group.

Go to se37 .Enter your FM name . Press Copy button in the application toolbar .This will copy the function module .

There should be no problem even if you transport the changes.

Hi,

After going to SE37 screen ,enter your function

module name and press ctrl+F5 for copying

the function module.It will ask you to copy various

options ,you dont have to check any option just

press COPY button and it will copy that function

module into your Z function module.

In se37 provide your function module name,

In application tool bar you can find copy button,

click on copy provide Standard function module name,

After hitting Enter if any INCLUDES are there in Function module ,

a POP-UP will appear with all includes name ,provide your defined include names(Z includename).

and go to attribute screen in that main program you need to copy the top include also into z-

hi ,

GO to SE80 . in that give u r Function GRoup name press copy button and give u r zfunction group name it will for each object it will ask u name give with zname hole object it will copy the activate and save in transport request no.

2.It will ask you to copy from and to

options ,u can ebnter names and just

and it will copy that function

module into your Z function module.
