Copy Program Variant from a system to another

Dear Colleagues

I have a test system AAB and a production system AAP

I have a job with 40 steps and 40 different programs setup in AAB

Now I have to create the same job in AAP

I'd like to know if its possible to copy a variant of a program from a system to another

Hi,

the variants can be transported using the RSTRANSP report.

In the selection screen specify report names and variants; after that the system will prompt for the WB request.

Hi,

If I understand correclty you can save the variant as a system variant by having the followng prefix for the variant name: CUS&

The system will ask for a transport when a variant name start with CUS&
