Copy from Smartform

Hi,

Is there any way in which i can copy from a smart form to another.

for example i have a requirement where i have to create a same type of window in two smartforms, is there any way in which i can copy from one to another.

Please help.

click on that window

then from menu utilities->download subtree.

it will download the window in XML format.

then go to new smartform.

go to menu utilities->upload

then select your XML file which was downloaded.

then this window will come to your clipboard.

then paste it by right click.

The answer is yes.

but it depends on yours SAP GUI .

I'm abale to do copy without any problem.but it may be you won't be able because of your GUI Version.

There is no option to copy a window from one smartform to another,

you can copy the smartform only.

Thanks for the solution. Those who think we cannot copy from one smartform to another can also try this solution.

Hi,

Use the download option given in the 'UTILITIES' tab in the old sf.

Then create a smartform and upload the old smartform xml file using upload option inside ur new created smartform...and delete the pages and windows u dont require.

Hi,

GO to smartforms transaction.

ON the main screen enter the smartform name.

Goto utilities->DOWNLOAD FORM.

Same way on the other server u can do.

Goto utilities->UPLOAD FORM.

hi,

there are two ways :-

either create the exact copy of the smartform by clicking on utlities -> and download it will get saved in XML format, then in the other smartform upload the same xml file. then delete the unwanted from there.

second way is simple simply click on the window and then click on utilities and den download the xml format and in the other smartform upload that xml file it will copy only the window ..
