configuration for sending mails

hi,

i wanted to ask if we have to send a email through sap with attachments like smartforms (pdf) and reports then are there some other changes need to be done in SAP other than just coding and using the FM which sends the email.

You have to configure SCOT transaction for sending mails to external iDs.

Hi Amit

Configure SAP Connect to send E-mail from SAP. SAP Connect can be maintained in the transaction SCOT. You can configure your mail server here.

Use SOST to view the mails.
