Hi,
I have a report which is working fine in dev and it is not working properly in prod. I donot have access to prod.
Is there any way i can compare these two.
Thanks
Veni.

Use the following steps to compare the version of the programs.
1. In SE38, Utilities->Versions->Version Management
2. Click on 'REMOTE Comparison'
3. In the Pop up window enter your production system in
the RFC destination.
4. Login to your production system.
5. Click on 'REMOTE Comparison'
6. Login to your production system again.
The comparison is displayed. Let me know this helps or not.

In version management, Press the "remote comparison" button. You'll have to have the production instance defined as an RFC destination.

Can you explain to me the difference between this remote compare and comparing via SE39.
Also, do you know of a way to compare program variants from one system to another (ie DEV to Prod). The RFC is already defined.
Thanks,

I suppose SE39 compares active programs, on the other hand Version compare gives an option to compare PRD active code with different Development versions..
