column resize in table control..

hi,

i created a table control thru wizard. i included 2 fields from my custom table. they were of size char 4 and char 5.

at runtime, i actually want them to be displayed with more of width else they look very narrow columns and i need to drag and extend the field size everytime..

so like char4 field i want to display like that of char20 !!!

is there any way i can set during design time or programmatically so that the column width is more than its actual !!

i hope u got what i want ??

Hi,

Go to the layout editor of the screen in change mode.

Double click on the cell of the table control, change the visible length.

Save & Activate.

Sorry, that option is disabled !!! I am dealing with a dictionary field and based on its data type char4, the colum is displayed with width 4 !! i am not able to change it in change mode !!

any other suggestions ?/
