Changing Password using menu or icon option

Hello,

When I try to change user's password using Change Password menu item or icon within SU01, the Change Password screen appears and let me enter a new password. Status still shows password as "production". I click on green check and status changes to the "Initial assigned by Admin", but screen does not go away. It just stays there. If I try to login with this new password, it does not understand it, but does understand the old one. So, it does not change a password.

Hi,

This issue happens after an upgrade? Did you upgrade the system recently. Refer SAP Note 1166395, which has the solutions for this issue. You may try implementing it even though the system is not a part of CUA and you haven't upgraded.

It should resolve the issue.
