Changes not reflecting after a TR import

Hi all,

I have a TR which has few tables and function modules. We released and imported this TR into another system, but the changes are not getting reflected in the new system. The old version of the tables and function modules still exists and is not getting replaced by the changes in this TR.

What could the problem be? Any pointers?

Thanks and Regards,

Reena

Hi Reena,

Go to SE01, Give your TR no. & go to the log and check the log of the new system. And see whether it showed any errors or not?

Reward with points if solved your issed

Hi,

There are no error messages in the log. There is a "Successfully Completed" message against each step in the log !

Please refer to the transport log of the TR. See if the the transport is done sucessfully or not. You can compare the contents of table E070, E070A & E071. see if this is what you are expecting.

Hope it will help, else check with your BASIS team.

Vishal

Hi Vishal,

Tables E071 and E070 have exactly the same entries in both the systems (Of course the date and time differ) .

Table E070A has an additional entry in the new system. This entry has the following values:

Dictionary Line Item : 999999

Attribute: EXPTIMESTAMP

Value: 20070328115911

Not sure if this means anything.

Thanks and Regards,

Reena

Hi Manjunath,

A re-import worked just fine !!

However, I had to add to a new TR, all the objects which had not moved and then release it again.

Thanks and Regards,

Reena
