Change mode is not available for include program

Dear All,

I want to change minor thing with our ABAP program for user exit. When i go to se38 and open the include program into change mode, it is white screen but the text is grey. Can't modify it. Is it lock? how do i unlock it?

Hi,

Check whether modification assistant is switched off or not?Goto Edit->Modification Operations->Switch off assistant if it is turned on.

hi mr Lakshman,

I have done your suggestion to off the assistant but when i click button change it shown source text of an EXIT func cannot be chgd. I still can change anything to the program.

You cannot turn it on once it is switched off.
