capturing records in itab

Hi experts,

I have 10 records in the output screen.Each and every record having checkbox. If i check 4th record's check box,

i should be able to capture 4th record fields.If i check 7th record's check box i should be able to capture that record fields.Can any one tell me how to caputure that particular records which i have checked?

Are you using ALV or Normal Report.

Hi Kaki,

If this is a contnuation of your previous post on checkboxes you can do the following..

AT LINE-SELECTION.

depending on what you need you can get field value or entire line contents using the GET CURSOR options.

Hi,

Iam trying to use MR.Rich code to get the fields.

In the 'report_lines' iam getting 10 lines,actually iam having 3 lines in the output.Is it reading page heading lines also? Another thing is when i check the check box iam getting two lines of the last record of the ITAB.Not the clicked item.What might be the reason? Here is my code.

You could also specify the field/s that you wish to capture in differnt variables..

eg,

hi,

this would be easy if you convert your program to ALV grid/list. there we have User COmmand option, if you give that , it will fetch you what records selected in the output list. you can move them to another table.
