BOM changes tracking

Hi All ,

I have a req like ,we have to update a legacy system with the changes done in commercial BOM ,in the case of sales contract .

I have to create a custom table wid the fields like material no,plant ,qty,changed date ,created date ,changed one etc etc ...

Now how can i achieve this ? Is there any Standard table that stores all these changes .?? I have to find the changes in BOM for a particular sales contract and update the same in the custom table .

BOM is a new concept for me .I read the docu abt this,got some idea now.

How do we know whether a material is BOM relevant or not ? can we check it in CS03 or MM03 or any particular field in any table that gives this ??
