Hi,

I have one RFC user set as SYSTEM, so even though I failed logins has never been blocked. Can it be done for one user, other users have set the parameter login / fails_to_user_lock to 3 ?

Regards,

T.

I think that isn't possible... The Parameter login/fails_to_user_lock is a system profile parameter, and it is valid for entire system, and not for single user...

Hi

how did you fail?

did you try to login using SAP GUI? or through the RFC?

When you try to login using SAP GUI with system type userid it is just says that please login with dialog it never mean that it is wrong password entry.

Also please note that the profile parameters are set as Global not for individual userids.

Regards

Hari

Failed logins only lock the password, not the user account.

The user can continue to login via non-password based methods: Background steps and Single-Sign-On.
